Kelly and Matt’s Terra Gallery Wedding in San Francisco was so memorable to photograph, mainly because Kelly and Matt are both such laid- back, easy going and super, super nice and funny people. This sentiment also extends to their respective friends and family, who all made my assistant and I feel welcome. We rode the trolley with the wedding party to some San Francisco trade-mark locations, including Bernal Heights and Potrero Hill for both bridal portraits and and bridal party portraits. Kelly and Matt expressed a desire to have the quintessential San Francisco city-scapes incorporated into their wedding photos. They set aside plenty of time before their ceremony and reception for this session, and I am so glad they did. The trolley driver went up some gnarly hills to get us to the top of Bernal Heights, and we were all quite amazed how he managed to squeeze through and navigate some of the urban terrain required to get to the parking lot. Stephanie Larson of Stephanie Larson Events had everything running smoothly on her end, and when we arrived everything was set to go. Matt had surprised all his family and friends from back home in Indiana with a local band, Touch Of Grass, who packed the dance floor late into the evening.
