This Chileno Valley Ranch wedding was gorgeous and so much fun! Will and Jane are both wonderful, genuine people. Chileno Valley Ranch was the perfect venue to replicate the feeling of an intimate get-together. Relaxed, warm, and personal summarize the feel of this wedding. The bride’s friend officiated their wedding and produced the florals for the affair. They wrote their own vows. Both Will and Jane wanted the reception to feel like a party they would want to attend — a backyard-sit-back-and-relax and less formal-event. In addition to her wedding dress, Jane wore a traditional Korean Hanbok. “I wanted to incorporate my Korean-American heritage into the most important days of my life. I went to Korea often as a child and have many family members still living there, so it is a big part of my identity. Also, Korean wedding garments are much more colorful than the traditional western wedding garments and given how beautiful our venue was, I wanted to add to that with bright summer colors. My cousins had these clothes hand made in Korea for me, and selected the specific colors.” Will played music with some old friends, and they encouraged their guests to roam the grounds, pet the sheep, and generally make themselves feel at home. The groom’s band kept everyone entertained before dinner in the beautifully decorated barn. They served Manhattan’s and Mexican Mules, as well as wine from Cooper Barbera Wine from Amador County where Will grew up. You can see more of this wedding on Snippet & Ink.
